About us
Cleaner One, A division of Beaton Flooring, has serviced the Tri-Valley for over 15 years. Owner and San Ramon resident Paul Beaton is the third generation in his family to work in the flooring industry. Paul has a C-15 flooring contractor's license and along with his service techs has worked hard to maintain honor roll status with the Better Business Bureau.

Trained by the Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration (IICRC), Paul and his cleaning techs are certified. The carpet cleaning industry does not require certification and not all carpet cleaners are educated and certified in this manner. Homeowners are put at ease when they learn Cleaner One meets carpet manufacturers' standards to service their carpets and keep their warranties valid.

In addition to carpet and upholstery cleaning, Cleaner One offers tile and natural stone cleaning and restoration. Paul found that a lot of his customers had beautiful natural stone installed in their homes, but had little or no knowledge of how to maintain and protect their investment. After training and becoming a VIC Certified Stone and Tile Technician, Paul was prepared to provide expert service and education to his customers. With every stone estimate, Paul takes the time to share valuable information to allow potential customers to choose the best course of action. Every client receives the necessary information about how to maintain their stone surfaces after a restoration.

What makes this company unique:

Before Cleaner One begins cleaning carpets, it goes to extraordinary lengths to mask a home’s furnishings to protect them from any potential damage. This precautionary measure, part of what owner Paul Beaton calls “the company’s system.” He says his company's system is well beyond the industry norm and has been met with resounding approval from Cleaner One’s clients. In his 20-plus years in the carpet cleaning industry, Mr. Beaton has never submitted a single damage claim to his insurance carrier.

A division of Beaton Flooring, Cleaner One has serviced the Tri-Valley area since opening its doors in 1994. Mr. Beaton is a C-15 flooring contractor who, along with his crew, was trained by the Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration (IICRC). IICRC is the flooring industry’s governing body, setting standards and rules for ethical behavior. Certification isn’t mandatory, but Mr. Beaton keeps his credentials in good standing to reassure his customers and maintain high standards of excellence. Additionally, Cleaner One holds honor roll status with the Better Business Bureau.

Mr. Beaton is also certified to clean and restore tile and natural stone. He believes customers value service that’s not only outstanding but consistent. “Repeat customers regard themselves as old friends,” he says. “They expect and trust Cleaner One to deliver quality results every time.”

As a third-generation flooring professional and veteran of the industry, Mr. Beaton understands that manufacturers will only honor the warranties of carpets that are relatively well-maintained. Cleaner One is adept at prolonging the life of carpets and other floorings to help customers keep their warranties for as long as possible.
