Grout which has not been sealed properly absorbs soil and oil from dirty mop water, pets, food, and a host of other household items. Our tile and grout cleaning system uses the water from our truck mounted cleaning unit. This water is under high pressure and at high temperature which aids in removing the soil that has accumulated over the years. As part of our tile and grout cleaning system, our certified technicians can also repair minor grout and caulking issues. No service is complete without applying a sealer. Sealers:
There are a lot of questions concerning sealers. Which sealer is right for my surface? How do they actually work? The two primary sealers being used today are: impregnator sealers and top coat sealers. The most commonly used sealer for grout and porous tile is an impregnator sealer. The impregnator sealers are designed to soak into the porous tile or grout joint allowing them to breathe while at the same time keeping dirt and other soils from sticking to the surface. Top coat sealers remain on the surface of the material to which it is applied. They are more commonly applied to slate, Mexican pavers, and saltio tiles (clay). It is important to use the proper sealer for your grout and tile and our certified technicians will perform a series of tests to determine which sealer will be the best for your project.
